The management team at SowiesoHelder is expanding and does so by deliberately hiring a creative director. ‘We tell stories and activate brands and companies’, says Joost van Iperen, managing director at SowiesoHelder. ‘It is getting increasingly more important that the overarching concept fits with the strategic direction and the communication goals. With Irpa having joined us, we strengthened our team with a specialist in the field of strategic concept development and creation with whom we can take the next steps with our agency’.


SowiesoHelder is doing well and the agency wants to continue that qualitative growth. The next steps planned for 2020-2022 mainly focus on the expansion of the core activities: strategy, creative concepts, and content. Van Iperen: ‘In particular in the field of Digital and Live (events, exhibitions) the inquiries to our agency is growing rapidly and we notice growth and opportunities to help our current clients as well as new clients to be able to reach their goals. Beside Digital and Live Retail is also appointed as one of the main priorities.




With Irpa SowiesoHelder strengthen their team with someone that has a lot of retail-experience. As a business unit director at MPG she was business-wise and creative-wise responsible for all Ahold accounts (Etos, Gall & Gall, Albert Heijn/Allerhande, AH to go, bol.com). Five years ago, Irpa and her team launched Savory, the ‘American Allerhande’, for Ahold USA which has nowadays grown into a platform. Next to that she also developed the concept of the new magazine of DA, which will appear four times a year, in 2019. As a creative director at SowiesoHelder, she will also be active on both of these projects. For Ahold USA/Savory as an extern strategist and DA as a surveyor of the concept.



Allard started at SowiesoHelder in early November and is entering communication-year 2020 with full steam ahead together with our team of 23 people. ‘High on my agenda: name recognition that fits with who we are and what we can achieve. Modesty does the team of SowiesoHelder great credit. It is absolutely a lovely characteristic to possess. But when I look at the fancy brands the agency cooperates with and the strong and effective work we deliver, SowiesoHelder deserves more name recognition. This is something I will happily contribute to in the coming years.
